Additions: There are two power flying sites available during the week.
The Beach
The beach which enables you to fly all sizes of fixed wing models including jets and helicopters. This is an fantastic flying site and despite being a beach is very quiet and is away from the public. The other benefit of the beach site are the sand dunes. When any wind is coming straight off the sea they make a great place to slope soar. Any smallish glider will happily fly from the dunes.
The Field
The field is located at the rear of the camp. The site is next to a golf course which caused issues last year so the flying site had a few of problems with its location and obstructions. This year the golf course is finished and the strip has also been moved. More details about the new location will be provided at the Pilots breifing.
Brean Down
Located North of the leasure park near the Beach Cafe, Brean Down makes for the perfect location for slope soaring. Before flying at this site, please pickup a frequency peg at the field flying site.
